Salai / Baaj is 17cm or more long hair pin with a hook used to secure loose or short dreads from popping out of the turban and also, to straighten the drapes (Ladh) of the turban. The pin is then inserted into the drapes, kept concealed and is taken out only if there’s a need to fix up the turban.
Baaj is avalible on two size one is small and one is large.
Small size is 5.25 inches long and 0.3 inches in width.
Large size is 7.5 inches long and 0.4 inches in width
